Codes And Conventions Of Thrillers - Camera Shots
Another convention of a thriller, is the long still shot of the dead body at the end. We kept the camera there for a few seconds to play with the minds of the audience. At first all you can see is a body on the floor, but as the time progresses in the shot, it signifies that there is more to this shot that meets the eye, and then the close up of the face is shown with the bruises, slit throat and cuts.
